Keller, Texas (October 27, 2004) – The Fall of 2004 is a great time of the year to be in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Football is in full-swing, basketball is just around the corner, exciting events at the Texas Motor Speedway, and this year, Lone Star Park is hosting the prestigious Breeder’s Cup. It is also a great time for one of the nation’s premier suppliers of jumbo event screens, Keller-based GoVision™, whose GOBIG line of portable daylight visible LED video screens are popping up at all these events.
“This has been a great year for GoVision,” said Chris Curtis, president of GoVision. “Our trucks have been busy enhancing each fan’s experience at all the venues we go to. Our goal is to have screens at every major national event, so that fans can not only enjoy the event, but be a part of something special.”
GoVision will be prominently displayed, enhancing the fan’s experience at this year’s Breeder’s Cup at Lone Star Park. They will have seven screens around the venue, four in the infield and three in other strategic locations giving the patrons a clear view of the action around the track. Screen sizes will range from a 22′x30′ to four 9′x16′ screens. GoVision also had a large 9′x16′ screen at the tapings of ABC’s “The View” at City Hall Plaza, where the audience was able to see what was taking place on the stage.
“One of our goals is to offer Texas Motor Speedway fans the ultimate in service and convenience,” said Speedway President Eddie Gossage. “The GoVision screens offer our fans up-close coverage of the race along with instant replays of important events. Texas Motor Speedway fans get the thrill and excitement of being at the race along with the convenience of live coverage and replays, just like watching at home. GoVision aids our efforts to provide fans with the ultimate race experience.”
GoVision screens have also made appearances at all the events at the Texas Motor Speedway, most recently being the IRL races two weekends ago. They had a 13 ½’x18′ screen at victory lane, as well as an 18′x32′ screen on the front stretch. GoVision also had screens at the West End Texas/OU watching party, Fort Worth Most Livable City Celebration, the Bird Show at the State Fair, Lance Armstrong’s Ride for the Roses, Houston Astros playoff watching party and at OU and University of Tennessee football games.
