GoVision's Mobile Event Video Truck Brings New Dimension to "Tribute to the Toughest"

LOS ANGELES – GoVision™, a national provider of mobile event video services, brought new excitement to this year’s Tribute to the Toughest event on June 22. One of GoVision’s mobile units, GO BIG, featuring a 16 foot by 9 foot LED screen and complete onboard control room, was used to broadcast the events of the celebration following the day’s truck and motorcycle ride in recognition of America’s veterans and MIAs and in support of the Veteran’s Administration.

“GoVision’s state of the art video equipment and excellent technical staff greatly enhanced our event this year,” said Peter Moorcroft, Executive Producer, Xperience Communications. “We look forward to their participation in future events.”

GoVision’s GO BIG unit was situated next to the stage at the Veterans Administration to broadcast the post-ride entertainment to the more than 3,000 people gathered for the event, which included a concert by Eddie Money. GO BIG broadcast an emotionally poignant video that featured Run For The Wall organization members and veterans recounting memories of their annual cross country pilgrimage to DC for the Memorial Day remembrance.

GoVision also provided live camera video broadcast of the day’s events and broadcast photos of ride winners, which were provided as a PowerPoint presentation. The GO BIG unit also sent and received audio to and from the sound crew.

The Tribute to the Toughest is an annual truck and motorcycle ride to support the Veteran’s Administration and salute those soldiers who have defended the liberties of the United States. Approximately 150 Ford Harley-Davidson™ F-150 trucks and more than 500 motorcycles were involved in the ride sponsored by Ford Motor Company. Jay Leno led the ride, which began at the Channel Islands Air National Guard Station and concluded at the Veterans Administration Healthcare Campus in West Los Angeles.
